At least somebody had the guts to ask, even if they did get ignored. Sounds like at least some legislators might have opposed it -- if they weren't intimidated.

Who asked for the role call? Who seconded it? For all anyone knows that request call from the balcony.
The fact is Boeing is bring jobs to this state and I applaud our General Assembly for the work they have done! This site loves to point out what is wrong, in their view, but offers one solution. Capitalism. OK, capitalism starts with jobs. Plain and Simple!

What is the good of bringing jobs to the state if the taxpayers have to pay for those jobs to come here?  Capitalism begins with jobs?  Not  jobs that are provided by the government and funded by the taxpayers.
If land and taxes are reasonable, corporations should be willing to come to the state without their hands out for an "incentive" to choose South Carolina over another state.  Fact is, thanks to the Federal Government and a few other enablers, our school system is not producing the kind of employees that companies are looking for.  Where are they going to find the people to work for the company?
And as far as this site wanting to point out only what is wrong, I just joined and I think the problem is that there is so much that is wrong with our government, it's hard to find something that is right to comment on it.  It all comes down to a concept that our representatives would like to forget - they work for us and we are entitled to know how they are doing their jobs.
